West Chester, PA — June 2026 — The Eastern Pennsylvania Bleeding Disorders Foundation (EPBDF) is proud to announce it has received a $50,000 grant from the Foxwynd Foundation to expand financial assistance and strengthen support services for individuals and families living with bleeding disorders across Eastern Pennsylvania.
This grant was made possible through a Donor Advised Fund at the Foxwynd Foundation.
This grant will directly support EPBDF’s Financial Assistance Program, helping community members access critical resources such as medical-related support, transportation assistance, emergency needs, and educational opportunities. These resources play a vital role in helping individuals and families manage the daily challenges associated with bleeding disorders.
Through this funding, EPBDF will continue advancing its mission to bring together those affected by bleeding disorders across its 41-county region to foster connection, provide education, support advocacy efforts, and offer meaningful financial assistance when it is needed most.
“This partnership reflects our shared commitment to supporting families and improving access to essential resources,” said Sarah Pilacik, Executive Director of the Eastern Pennsylvania Bleeding Disorders Foundation. “We are deeply grateful to the Foxwynd Foundation for investing in the health, stability, and well-being of our community.”
“At Foxwynd Foundation, we believe that access to care should never depend on circumstance. Supporting organizations like EPBDF allows families facing complex medical conditions to find stability, dignity, and reliable support when they need it most.”
— said Sarah Allem, Trustee at the Foxwynd Foundation
This funding will allow EPBDF to expand its ability to respond to urgent needs, reduce financial burdens, and ensure individuals living with bleeding disorders have access to the support systems necessary to thrive.
