Sarah Pilacik has served as the Executive Director of the Eastern PA Bleeding Disorders Foundation (EPBDF) since February 2022. With a professional background in education, she previously worked as a special educator and special education administrator in Chester County from 2006 to 2021. Sarah earned her B.S. from Central Michigan University in 2000 and her M.Ed. from Widener University in 2006. She also holds a school administrative certification through Gwynedd Mercy University.

Sarah resides in West Chester with her husband and dogs. She enjoys traveling, music, reading, spending time outdoors, and cheering on Philadelphia sports teams — with the Phillies at the top of the list. Fun fact: Sarah is almost always planning her next adventure or getaway and has especially enjoyed exploring and getting to know more of the beautiful Commonwealth of Pennsylvania through her role at EPBDF.

Known for her creative thinking, collaborative leadership style, and passion for building meaningful community connections, Sarah has greatly enjoyed getting to know the bleeding disorders community. Alongside the awesome team of Lisa and Keyai and a supportive Board of Directors, she remains deeply committed to advocating for community needs and advancing the Foundation’s mission.
