Kennett Square, PA, December 12, 2024. The Eastern Pennsylvania Bleeding Disorders Foundation (EPBDF) is delighted to announce it has received a $50,000 grant to support its mission of empowering the bleeding disorders community. This generous contribution was made possible by the Foxwynd Foundation Donor Advised Fund (DAF).
“The Foxwynd Foundation, alongside the Bentley Family, is committed to making a meaningful impact in the lives of those facing unique challenges,” said Pamela Villagra, Executive Director of the Foxwynd Foundation. “Through this grant, we aim to ease financial burdens for affected families and support EPBDF’s critical work in advocacy and care for the bleeding disorders community.”
The $50,000 grant will be used exclusively for EPBDF’s patient assistance program, which provides critical financial support to individuals and families managing the challenges of living with a bleeding disorder. These funds will directly assist patients in accessing life-saving treatments, medications, and essential resources they might not otherwise be able to afford.
“This transformative grant from the Foxwynd Foundation ensures that our patient assistance program can continue to be a lifeline for those in need,” said Sarah Pilacik, Executive Director of EPBDF. “With their support, we can reduce financial barriers to care and make a tangible difference in the lives of the individuals and families we serve. We are excited to be partnering with the Foxywnd Foundation now and in the future! We are thankful for the impactful work they do in Pennsylvania and beyond.”
